faifa software package provides manage HomePlug 1.0/AV devices via ethernet frames, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install faifa
faifa is installed in your system.
Make ensure the faifa package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep faifa *
You will get with faifa package name, version, architecture and description in a table
